My Hobbies
On Digital Scrapbooking
This blog was first made just b/c of Photography. I planned on making this solely for Photography but I love WordPress so much that I’ve decided to leave Friendster permanently and have everything here.
I’ve been paper scrapping for years now till I came across this beautiful hobby. I never knew that there’s such a BIG world of Digiscrapability out there. Nice people around you, not knowing each other personally but touches each others’ hearts through sharing, caring and scrapping! New age scrapbooking…no more buying of materials at local bookstores, buying expensive tools at SMILE or cutting papers then glueing ‘em with pictures… Creativity and talent are the main materials here plus a very good pc, a fast internet access and a good camera. Digital Scrapbooking, my
newnot so new hobby… the best way to capture and treasure “Kodak” memories! On Photography
“When most I wink, then do mine eyes best see,
For all the day they view things unrespected;
But when I sleep, in dreams they look on thee,
And darkly bright are bright in dark directed.
Then thou, whose shadow shadows doth make bright,
How would thy shadow’s form form happy show
To the clear day with thy much clearer light,
When to unseeing eyes thy shade shines so!
How would, I say, mine eyes be blessed made
By looking on thee in the living day,
When in dead night thy fair imperfect shade
Through heavy sleep on sightless eyes doth stay!
All days are nights to see till I see thee,
And nights bright days when dreams do show thee me.”
Sonnet XLIII by William ShakespeareThe first reason why I indulged myself over blogging. I actually decided to have a blog because of my love in Photography but as I discovered how vast blogging was, it came out that I was actually not only posting about photographs but everything I have in mind. So came 2008, I’ve decided to put up a photo blog solely dedicated for my interest ever since I was at a young age. And Snapshots of Life came. Been forever smitten with photographs, especially with the pictures of my love ones and celebrations like weddings, baptisms, birthdays and the likes. I still feel that it’s the best way to capture memories. Hopefully, I will be capturing a lot of those in the near future, improving my eye in photography as well. Join me in my journey as I walk through my experience with my most loved frustration… PHOTOGRAPHY.
