It’s a Guy Thing
My husband and his friends were talking about cars the other week and just last night, I overheard them talking about a gunvault and apparently this friend of his is looking for one because he has a collection of guns which by the way, I can’t seem to comprehend, why collect something that you don’t use even just once. My husband told me after their phone conversation that some guns are antique already and that they are too fragile to use but the thing is not one single gun from his collection was used by the collector. He just displays them and some are hidden in suitcases. He rarely even goes to the shooting range to practice. He just love the collecting part. Oh well, I guess it’s a guy thing that I will never understand.

Still Freezing
My brother in law went back to Georgia yesterday. It was a short and sweet goodbye and hopefully we can come on over next year in the US to visit him and our other relatives there. He mentioned yesterday that it is still freezing in some parts of the states and that winter is not officially over, his friends from New York are still looking for some electric fireplaces to purchase for their apartments, 2 of them had problems with their heating systems. My aunt told me that it was also still freezing in Illinois and I sure hope the winter ends in their parts of the world, too much cold is not fun and Spring is much better!

Busy Day Today
I’ve been out of the loop for 2 days. I was sick, well I still feel sick but I have to go to work because I have so much to finish and I get more headaches by lying down in bed the whole day, I guess I’m not used to it but my body was sore that I am too lazy to move, I have less patience with my very active son and I am just totally down because I am not feeling well. Anyway, my husband will be very busy too, he needs to know some car insurance rates not for our car but for his boss, so we might not be able to eat lunch together because they will be going to Makati to check out something and maybe scout for these rates so the grocery shopping today might be on a halt until after work.On the other hand, I will be finishing so much offline and online task because tomorrow is weekend and I have Saturdays and Sundays just for my family, no work and so far since the start of the year, I’ve been very consistent about this.

Chatting Online
I haven’t been online for days, not that I don’t go mobile but staying on my laptop is what I mean. Today, I had the chance to go online and I chatted with my friend who is now leaving in Paris. She will be getting married this year to her French fiance and they only met in a free dating online site. I was curious of their love story that she was shy to admit that she went online to meet this guy but admitted to me when our conversation was about to end that she met him on the internet. I have nothing against these kinds of dating, as long as it is safe and that you are sure that who you meet are nice individuals then why not right? I wish her luck and I hope they come home after they get married, they will be getting married in France since the guy’s family can’t fly in to have the wedding here.

Getting Ready for Christmas
Unlike me, my mom isn’t starting with her Christmas shopping and we will be cramming in Divisoria, I hope she makes a very well planned list so as not to forget anything. My Dad on the other hand will be giving gifts for VIPs and his secretary will be in charge of everything. He just asked me to look for some nice address labels so when he will have his gifts shipped, it will be nicely presented since these are very important people. Whatever that means. hehehe… Anyway, I might buy a few essentials at Divisoria and maybe a few more gifts to some of the names remaining on my list. I need to plan this well because we want to stay only half a day there and I know it will be impossible if we don’t have a list.

Gold Investment
Friends have been convincing me to get into the gold coin investment very soon. I really can’t decide about this since we only have a little saved in the bank but a friend of ours recently joined them and was very happy with the results.I don’t have the guts that he has, spending most of his savings to do this investment even without much knowledge. He trusted our other friends who are also in the business plus he relied on US Gold Bureau to get a little knowledge and bought gold from them. He heard great reviews from our friends and since he doesn’t know anything about it, he just went with the flow and he earned his first huge income from it this year. I was talking to him this morning and it actually got me thinking. Well, we both have less knowledge with this kind of investment and almost have the same amount of savings in the bank, the only difference is that he is single and maybe that’s the reason why he is braver than I am.

Beauty School in Orange Park
She is into fashion and wants to pursue something about beauty, since she definitely knows that she can’t sew like her mom even if she tried, the closest she can take is in a cosmetology school in Orange Park. Her mother agreed even if she has to be away from home for quite some time. It was not a very easy decision but after her enrollment, she is now very happy with her decision.
Regency Beauty Institute is the best school she can think of, with the best facilities and high standard education and training she knew from the day her classes started that she is in the right hands.
With her beaming smiles and happy voice while online, her mom is glad she allowed her to go. It is her first time to be away from home and now that she is used to it, I think she will go a long way. Who am I talking about? A cousin of mine who shares interests with me about beauty and fashion.
